About the Workshop
In this workshop, we will explore the concept of authenticity and look at how incorporating authentic materials can make our lessons more engaging and motivating.

We will be taking a closer look at how to choose and exploit authentic materials with respect to our learning objectives and students’ proficiency level.

During the second hour, we will be working with our self-generated activities based on 'Becoming Fluent: How Cognitive Science Can Help Adults Learn a Foreign Language', by Richard Roberts and Roger Kreuz.
