10 ways to apply Psychology in an EFL-classroom
In this session, we’ll talk about how knowledge of Psychology can help English teachers solve problems in the classroom. We’ll also illustrate these ideas with the cases from ELT-reality and have fun finding solutions

Coping with Anxiety
In this session, we’ll talk about how our students’ emotions influence their learning behaviour and why procrastination goes hand in hand with perfectionism. We will also take a look at ways how to identify the level of foreign language anxiety and brainstorm some hands-on activities to create a safe space and positive learning experience for our students.

Ideal teacher: choosing yourself is OK
Modern ELT community fosters and actively promotes the image of a teacher who is supposed to be perfectly qualified, extensively experienced and flexible for any teaching context. It’s really difficult to be on a par with such an ideal figure, isn’t it? In this session, Alena Nikitina will present a simple tool with the help of which we will try to look inside ourselves to see what kind of teachers we really are and what is OK for US.

Making the Most out of the Song

At our workshop, we will create a set of different tasks based on the one and only song. You will be able to use them right away.
Alexey Lebedev
will show you many different approaches and outcomes, and you will realize that creating tasks is not that time-consuming.

Writing for CPE
The session with Alena Nikitina
will be devoted to a quite underexplored notion of tone in exam writing. Sometimes, when we are supposed to write on a topic we feel strong about, we might get carried away and pour out all the negativity we have toward a contentious subject in our text, and ultimately on our reader. The question is: To what extent can we expose our feelings in exam writing?
The topic of this meeting has been selected to help newly-qualified and experienced teachers become aware of how to plan and deliver training sessions for others. This skill is likely to be useful in a range of teaching contexts including language schools, university departments, secondary schools or a teaching community in general.
Do you think you can study psychology and improve your English at the same time? Can you learn art in English if you have never learnt neither art no English before? Is it possible to use CLIL with beginner students?
We are inviting you to participate in a CLIL methodology seminar and a CLIL lesson to find your own answers to these questions.

This webinar belongs to the series of videos that have been designed for helping teachers plan interesting lessons for their individual learners, especially those who are eager to explore Cambridge English Qualifications for school children.

This webinar was the first session on teaching 121, factors affecting motivation, tools for needs analysis, and some examples of useful activities for young learners.
In this workshop, we will explore the concept of authenticity and look at how incorporating authentic materials can make our lessons more engaging and motivating.

We will be taking a closer look at how to choose and exploit authentic materials with respect to our learning objectives and students’ proficiency level.

Should students create activities for other students? If you have doubts about that and want to get to grips with some important principles of creating such tasks for your students, join Tatiana Golechkova’s talk.

During the second hour with Anna Kashcheeva, we will discuss and share our opinions on 'Becoming Fluent: How Cognitive Science Can Help Adults Learn a Foreign Language' by Richard Roberts and Roger Kreuz.
In this webinar recording, Anna Kashcheeva talks about the highest level practical teaching qualification for English language teachers — the DELTA (Cambridge's internationally recognised Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

This webinar will help you understand the format of the exam and what Cambridge is expecting from you. We will also look more closely at the ways the DELTA can deepen your knowledge and understanding of second language teaching and provide you with skills and techniques that will help you throughout your career.
Three Cs of Quality Writing: In this session, we will discuss challenges related to advanced writing that many of our students face when writing for academic, business and exam purposes.

Language Awareness for Teachers:
In this interactive talk, you will be prompted to reflect on your language use and how it impacts your practice, and together, we will look into (free-of-charge) tools to help you become more prepared and confident about your language and how our learners benefit from a language-aware teacher.
